Your Italian convenience store.
Caffè · panini · bottega.
One counter on Queens Quay.
Bacco began with a simple idea: one counter where the good parts of an Italian day can meet without becoming a full ceremony. Espresso and cappuccino in the morning; panini and Roman pizza by the slice when you are hungry; a non-alcoholic aperitivo, wine or prosecco when the day slows down. Since May 2025, that is what we have been doing at 4 Lower Simcoe Street.
Toronto’s Italian food culture has its institutions, its markets, its restaurants and its specialists. Bacco has a narrower job: to make a well-made coffee, lunch, aperitivo or bottle easy to choose, at the moment you need it. The details matter — the bread, the espresso, the slice, the shelf — but the experience should not feel complicated. Walk in, order what suits the moment, and carry the rest home.
